Mental Health Counseling – CACREP Accredited
Capella University’s CACREP-approved mental health
counseling specialization prepares learners to assume positions as
mental health counselors within institutional, community, and
private settings. Program components, including academic preparation
and clinical training, teach counselor education professionals to
apply varied theoretical mental health approaches and research
activities in contemporary practice assessment and treatment
protocols.
This master’s degree specialization is approved by
the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational
Programs (CACREP). It is the first and only online program in the
