Master of Science (MS) in Human Services – General Human Services
Program
The master's degree specialization in general human services is designed for
professionals seeking a graduate degree with a customizable curriculum. You will
complete core course work for a strong foundation in the specialization and with
the guidance of an academic advisor, choose from a wide range of electives to
build a program that reflects your interests and professional goals. Graduates
of this online program are prepared for leadership and management positions in
social services, education, government, law enforcement, health care, and the
U.S. Armed Forces.
Master of Science (MS) in Human Services - Counseling
Studies
Our master’s degree specialization in counseling studies is designed
for learners within counseling, psychology, or sociology fields who wish to
pursue careers in private or public human services settings or counseling
service delivery settings, or as a precursor to a doctoral program. Core courses

Counseling – CACREP Accredited
Capella University’s CACREP-approved mental health counseling
specialization prepares learners to assume positions as mental health counselors
