Master of
Business Administration
Strayer
University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program
offers a vigorous, broad-based education for working
professionals from a wide range of backgrounds who wish to
advance or enhance their business careers. With a curriculum
that prepares adult students for the emerging knowledge economy,
the MBA program and emphasizes the latest concepts, practices,
and skills in today’s rapidly changing marketplace. Students may
choose from concentrations in Acquisition, Human Resource
Management, Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.
The concentration in Acquisition is currently not available
to residents of South Carolina and Tennessee.
Master of Education
The new
Master of Education program is designed to provide current K-12
teachers, school administrators, training and development
professionals, and human resources managers and staff the
knowledge and skills to pursue or advance their careers in
education, HR, training, curriculum development, instructional
technology, or trade and education association management. The
M.Ed. program of study includes courses that focus on functional
areas and critical knowledge in education as well as courses
incorporating business skills and information technology tools.
Upon completing the program, students will be able to apply key
concepts, proven methodologies, and information technology
skills to education problems, and activities. Students may
choose concentrations in Educational Management and Technology
in Education.
This program is currently not available to residents of
South Carolina.
Master in
Health Services Administration
The Master of
Health Services Administration (MHSA) program is designed to
meet the needs of healthcare professionals and others in health
services support industries who wish to obtain the knowledge and
skills needed to assume mid-level and Executive level managerial
positions in health services organizations. The health services
administration program prepares students by training them to
manage and direct the business aspects of healthcare. Specific
careers for which this degree can help students prepare, as
identified by the Accrediting Commission on Education for Health
Services Administration (ACEHSA), include hospital
administrators, healthcare managers, managed healthcare plan
coordinators, and administrators in short and long-term
residential facilities.
Master of
Public Administration
The Master of
Public Administration (MPA) is the professional degree for
people who want to enter public service at the management level.
The academic focus is on developing analytical, conceptual and
practical competencies that are common to Strayer University’s
Master of Business Administration degree, but emphasizing the
“public” perspective of administration. The program is designed
to meet the graduate education needs of working professionals
who wish to advance their careers, as well as business
professionals such as contractors and consultants who perform a
major part of their jobs working in a government environment.
The program's curriculum replicates content recommendations of
the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and
Administration (NASPAA).
Master of Science in Communications Technology

Science in Communications Technology (MSCT) program stresses the
design, technical, managerial, and policy issues associated with
developing communications systems that support modern

Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program approaches
information as an organizational resource that is subject to
managerial planning and control, focusing on integration of data

more competitive. This professional degree program stresses the
technical, managerial, and policy issues associated with
building computer-based systems that support modern
organizations. The MSIS program addresses the theoretical and
practical aspects of specifying, designing, implementing, and

the MSIS program offers graduates most of the academic
background necessary to pursue certification as a Certified
Computer Professional (CCP).
Master of Science in Management Information Systems
Designed to

information systems departments, the Master of Science in
Management Information Systems (MSMS) combines technical courses
