Bachelor of Business Administration

The Fast Track BBA consists of 18 courses focusing on organizational behavior, communications, accounting, finance, and marketing, as well as a research project designed to assist you in learning problem-solving techniques, research design and methodology, and report writing.

Bachelor of Criminal Justice: Justice Administration

The Bachelor of Justice Administration provides students the skills necessary to analyze threats to the communication infrastructure, assess the role of terrorism in world politics among other skills. The program assembles practitioners from the various components of the criminal justice system and this diversity allows a synergy in the classroom. The distinguished faculty has proven academic and professional careers.
 

Masters Programs

Master of Science in Criminal Justice in Homeland Security Administration

Developed in partnership with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Tiffin's Homeland Security Administration program is designed for law enforcement and emergency response professionals whose responsibilities include homeland security issues. Topics covered include legal and ethical issues, transportation and information security, emergency preparedness, and counter-terrorism.

Master of Science in Criminal Justice in Justice Administration

Learn the business and administrative skills essential to successful leadership in the field of Criminal Justice. Think of it as an MBA tailored to fit a career in the justice system.

Master of Science in Criminal Justice in Crime Analysis

Students are given a theoretical overview of crime analysis along with applied knowledge. Curriculum in this concentration focuses on problem-solving skills, contemporary issues and trends, research methods, and relevant computer applications.

Master of Science in Criminal Justice in Criminal Behavior

The Criminal Behavior concentration is designed for students interested in examining the relationship between Psychology and the Criminal Justice system. Students will develop knowledge and expertise in crisis intervention, counseling, psychopathology, personality assessment, and research methods. The Criminal Behavior concentration is offered in the three semester format and is only available online.

Master of Business Administration: General Management

The General Management concentration is designed for a mid-career manager who is interested in moving into general management from functional or operational management. Students in the General Management concentration have had successful careers in marketing, accounting, human resources, or line operations, but now wish to move into positions of authority that span many different functions

Master of Business Administration: Leadership

The Leadership concentration is designed for the working professional employed across a range of professions including education, health care, social services, church, government, law enforcement, and business. The program centers upon those characteristics that develop and promote leadership. Within the leadership framework, the program stresses decision-making and managerial skills.

Master of Business Administration: Safety and Security Management

The Safety and Security Management concentration is designed for safety and/or security professionals wishing to move into senior supervisory or managerial positions in medium and large sized corporations; public safety positions at the state and local level; federal agencies such as Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), United States Coast Guard, etc; or large not-for-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross.

Master of Business Administration: Sport Management

The preparation for managerial opportunities in professional, intercollegiate, and recreational sports recognizes the need for developing practitioners who understand the dynamic nature of the business and apply responsive and prudent skills in decision making and operations. The Tiffin University MBA concentration in Sports Management aims to assist students in enhancing managerial skills through the delivery of techniques and best practices that integrate academic theory with contemporary business applications.

The Sport Management program places a premium on enhancing applied critical thinking skills and ethical decision making practices in a chosen sport industry segment. The primary goal of the concentration is to assist students in reaching personal, educational and professional objectives in a sport-specific environment. Program participants are required to participate in a supervised mentorship program with an individual who has appropriate experience and is able to demonstrate a record of outstanding contribution to the profession.

Master of Humanities

The program offers graduate study in liberal arts for those who seek a broad, interdisciplinary approach to knowledge. It is designed for adults facing career changes who are interested in exploring disciplines in the liberal arts which supply added skills in critical thinking, analytical writing, and communication; for adults desiring promotion and needing to supplement their professional education through continued intellectual growth; and for life-long learners who seek to satisfy their continuing intellectual curiosity and creativity.

The integrated program of study has a core of courses with a unified, thematic perspective requiring students to become critical thinkers with competence in written analysis; yet the program is highly individualized, allowing each student to focus on his/her own area of interest. This combination of core courses and individualized study promotes a unified perspective and gives the student the freedom to explore themes across disciplines.

The Master of Humanities program consists of a total of 30 semester hours: 21 shall be in Tiffin University courses; 9 hours may be transfer credit (as electives or equivalent area requirement courses) from other accredited graduate schools (B required to transfer) or other Tiffin University graduate program courses.
